At The Be Cafe, we believe every person deserves the dignity, purpose, and joy that comes from meaningful employment. That’s why we’ve built thriving coffee shops where adults with intellectual disabilities - our incredible Beristas - don’t just have a job, they belong, shine, and grow. Six cafes strong and growing, we’re proving that when you hire for heart and train for skill, everyone wins: Beristas gain independence, valuable skills, and customers feel the impact. We call it Coffee With A Purpose!

We’re looking for the kind of patient, big-hearted souls who light up when someone with an intellectual disability nails a new task, serves their first latte with a smile, or simply says, “I love coming to work.”
If you’ve worked in special ed, supported adults with ID, or you’re a parent who just gets it—this may be your calling... not just a paycheck.

Today, new cafe opportunities are popping up everywhere. More people with intellectual disabilities are lining up for a job. More businesses want to hire the talent we develop. The only problem? All this opportunity is bigger than our current capacity. And our purpose can only grow if our business can scale. The Be Cafe needs more funding to ensure we can scale at a pace that meets the demand we currently have.
